97: The Wait

A day before my Biology exam, a lockdown was imposed in Bangalore. No one knew for how long we would have to wait to write our exam. We were all locked in our homes. The wait for my 12th board exam results and consequently my college admissions was one of the hardest waits of my life. I had to wait for about 8 months before I could get into the college that I wanted to. The wait was frustrating and long.

There were many times that I was worried whether I would even end up getting into a college. Through it all, God supported me and encouraged me daily. My parents and my sister also helped me to stay focused. As the months have passed by, I am now grateful for where I am. It was definitely worth the wait.

This year as well, there are many students waiting. I want to tell you guys that it’s going to be okay and know that you are not alone!!❤
