134: Loneliness to solidarity?

I doubt I’ve ever felt so alone and lonely as I have in the past year. Being a person who was used to socialising and hanging out with freinds, being alone is a very scary concept. At the same time trying to manage new subjects and university was another struggle I faced and still do.

That year was just the tipping point for me both academically and socially. I also think when so many things in your life are affected in a short time, getting back to your usual self is almost next to impossible yet people expect that out of you. And I don’t think I’ll ever be able to think and socialise the way I used to.

In a way its been a relief because I used to put a lot of pressure on myself but at the same time trying to relax at the end of your high school year was probably not ideal.

I still am trying to cope with the changes of suddenly things becoming normal again and it’s going to be a long time before I achieve it, but I bet the wait is going to be worth it.
